No. MBlack Rentals issues the Certificate of Insurance through our carrier, listing you and your vehicle. You only need to keep your own personal auto insurance active for the length of the rental.

Who qualifies to rent an SUV for Uber Black in Dallas?

Accepted Answer

You must meet all five requirements: be eligible for Uber Black or already approved on the platform, be 25 years old or older, hold a full valid Texas driver license, carry active personal auto insurance, and have a place to garage the vehicle in Texas.

What SUVs are available for Uber Black drivers?

Accepted Answer

Our fleet is all full-size black SUVs: Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon in Denali and Elevation trims, GMC Yukon XL, and Ford Expedition XL. Availability is confirmed on a call, and no vehicle is held until a contract is signed.

How does the rental process work?

Reach out through the website for a quick phone call. Send your driver license, personal insurance card, and garaging address. We issue your Certificate of Insurance, usually the same day during business hours. You get Uber Black approved using that COI, sign the contract and delivery inspection electronically, pay the deposit, then pick up or take delivery of the vehicle.

How many miles are included with the rental?

Accepted Answer

Up to 5,000 miles per month are included. Overage terms are covered on the call.

Question 6

Can I use the rental for UberX, Lyft, or Uber Eats?

Accepted Answer

No. The vehicle is for Uber Black driving only. UberX, Uber Comfort, Lyft standard, Uber Eats, personal use, and other rideshare categories are not permitted under the contract.

Where is MBlack Rentals located and what areas do you serve?

We are located at 15305 Dallas Parkway, Addison, TX 75001, and serve professional drivers across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Irving, Frisco, Arlington, and the DFW and Love Field airport areas.

Question 8

When is the deposit collected and is it refundable?

Accepted Answer

The deposit is collected only after the contract is signed, and it is refundable. It is settled and the remainder returned 14 days after the vehicle is returned, once tolls and any fees are accounted for.
